Robert Levitt, MD, FACOG

Robert Levitt, MD“Listening to my patients concerns, simplifying medical information and making them a partner in their health care is an important aspect of how I practice OB GYN.  I appreciate that the issues my patients bring to the office can have a profound effect on every aspect of their lives. When a patient leaves my office, I want them to feel they have been heard, had concerns and questions thoroughly addressed and feel motivated to make good choices about their health and life".

"OB/GYN itself is a special field of medicine that enables you to be part of a patient’s life over many years. It is especially meaningful to have babies I delivered become patients themselves.”

Dr. Levitt has a special interest in Menopausal Evaluation and Counseling and Minimally Invasive Hysteroscopic Surgery.  He enjoys sharing the Obstetrical experience with patients and the diversity of practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology.

He and his wife, Sally, and their two children and two grandchildren are long time Maryland residents.  When Dr. Levitt is away from practicing medicine, he most enjoys photography and anything outdoors, especially biking, hiking, skiing and scuba diving.
